Coward at his best.Garry Essendine is a sacred monster, a leading actor of overweening egotism and ruthless charm, advancing with every sign of reluctance into middle age.

Rik Mayall in a Coward play...... Doesn't really sound as though it will work. Well it does, not a sign of his bottom or his punk days. Instead a fast flowing comedy.
Like his over the top character, he relishes every moment on the stage and commands every ones attention.
A very under estimated talented actor.
I look forward to seeing him is slightly more modern productions.
