The Broadway musical, based on Dean Pitchford's and Kenny
Loggin's spectacular movie. Packed with toe-tapping 80's classics.

I know I saw this new version in it's first week in the West End, so you'd expect energy and enthusiasm, but I can't help thinking this young cast will keep it going for ever. I was exhausted just watching.

Far superior production than the tour from a couple of years ago. Much slicker and much more oomph. The dancing was sensational, whereas in the last production it was bland and lacking.

Cheryl Baker ex of 'Bucks Fizz' who played Ariel's Mother Vi, reminded us all that she has a beautiful singing voice. With a nice touch at the end!!.

But the undoubted star of the show and of the future I am sure, is Derek Hough, who plays Ren. He does look a little young, I have to say, in fact 12 !! But I've been ensured he's twenty. You soon forget that, however, when you witness his amazing dancing, plus he can act and sing exceptionally well......Makes you sick doesn't it!!
